1. The backwash filter has easy operation and management, high filtration speed, simple and reliable flushing, strong backwash capability, no power required, and energy saving. Flushing and sewage drainage can work normally at full flow, which not only maintains a high flow rate in the system, but also has a very low pressure drop (less than 0.05-0.1m water column) to avoid surface stains caused by low flow rates. There is no need for high bypass management during the installation process, which reduces the investment and installation costs of the three bypass valves. It is installed directly on the pipe network without any supporting structure, saving space. It does not require disassembly and drainage, which reduces labor intensity, avoids disassembly and drainage during debugging and maintenance, and saves labor, effort and time.
2. Working principle:
(1) Backwash filter working filtration
During normal operation, the water flow diversion valve is open and the water to be treated passes through the filter and uses the principle of inertia to deposit fine impurities and suspended solids in the water near the sewage outlet due to inertia.
(2) Backwash filter-flush and drain
During normal flushing, the water flow diverting valve is open. When the filter intercepts a certain amount of fine impurities and suspended solids in the water, open the valve on the sewage outlet, and flush the impurities stuck in the collection section of the filter under the action of the water flow until the discharge water is clear. Then close the filter on the sewage outlet to enter normal working condition.
(3) Backwash filter-backwash sewage discharge
During backwashing, the water flow steering valve is closed and the drain valve is opened. At this time, the water flow is forced from the mesh of the inlet section of the filter cylinder into the interlayer between the outside of the filter cylinder and the shell, and is flushed from the outside of the mesh cylinder in the opposite direction to adhere to the mesh. impurities on the filter to achieve the purpose of cleaning the filter. Since the steering valve is closed, the flow rate of water increases after passing through the backwash valve, and the backwash effect is good.
3. Installation and maintenance:
(1) Installed directly on the product pipeline without any support structure, usually close to the protected equipment.
(2) Flushing can be carried out in two stages. The first is the cleaning and sewage discharge stage. Open the sewage valve for about 30 seconds to allow the impurities to be discharged from the sewage outlet according to the condition of the impurities in the pipe. The second is the backwash stage. The sewage valve is still open and the water flow diverting valve is opened for about 30 seconds to remove the adhering fluid. The residue on the filter is backwashed and discharged.
